Hatha yoga is the most common of the Yoga disciplines - it involves pranayama and the adoption of various bodily postures (asanas). The word "hatha" combines two Sanskrit words: ha, which means "the breath of the sun" (prana), and tha, "the breath of the moon" (apana).
Each class follows the same structure.
Part I: 5 minutes of relaxation
Part II: 5 minutes of limbering exercises (to heat up your muscles)
Part III: 70 minutes of postures (asanas)
Part IV: 10 minutes of relaxation
